I've had a wicked summer with this thing. It's made me want to get out and drive with no destination in mind for the first time in ages. Had a few road trips too, including Goodwood for Radwood UK and over to the Nürburgring for a few laps including a session on the GP circuit.

Firstly I need to say a massive thanks again to CPP. A couple of weeks before my ring trip I noticed a slight crunch into 5th. I rang Gaz and he told me to drop it off and they'd sort it under warranty. Unfortunately, I could only drop it off 4 days before I was due to leave. I dropped it off on the Monday, and despite them being very busy I got a call on the Wednesday to say it was ready with a new 5th gear synchro fitted. I picked it up on Thursday evening and the following morning drove it 500 miles to Germany without a hitch. Without that service I wouldn't have been able to go, or I'd have had to take the Mrs's 320d

On to some pics of it out and about. Firstly a trip to Caffeine & Machine. Parking up on a plinth next to a Dino felt pretty good

Local car café with my lad

A few from the ring

Standard suspension problems

I also took my road bike and cycled the Nordschlieffe, something they do 5 or so times a year (plus the 24hr Rad am Ring race). Managed a 58 minute lap, the climb from Adenau to Hohe Acht is a killer! I did manage over 50mph down Fuchrohre too

Here is a couple from its last clean

After 3.5k miles it still comes up brand new with some GT85 and a rag underneath. It's now Sorn'd, covered and away til Spring

I'm already planning where I want to take it next year
