Standard manifold throttle body modification thread

As you can see thee is quite a bit of work to do to make these work well. Does'nt seem enough meat on the std manifold throttle body mounting section.
I marked the inside of the S90 to show the metal the needs removing.

Well it would do its a bigger tb??? 70mm
Std is 65mm from memory, Maybe this should of been made clear in the group buy.

Part two

Had the manifold welded this week to add some more metal to the side of the mounting block, also had some weld put arond the circumfrence so when its ported it will not break through.
And machined to clean up.

its 62mm standard Dia - so 4mm all around to be removed - The S90 website does state that modification to the standard manifold is required

Opened out the diameter to suit the throttle body.

Had the car dynoed on the hottest day of the year this sumer. The figures werE 498.3 hp 460lbs tq

Hoping for a bit more with the cooler weather and throttle body and manifold mods.

Finished. Thought i would give the inlet runners a bit of a tickle over.

Am going to paint the manifold in black wrinkle to finish it off.
