My rear RH sensor has failed but can't find any cheaper e-bay alternatives. It lists it fitting but part numbers don't match (4670A586). Does anyone know if the standard Lancer sportback ones are the same? Refuse to pay nearly £300 for a wire with a magnet on the end!!

Do your checks but this lists the oem number in the set

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4X-FRONT-...53.m1438.l2649 (same listing)

Both of those ebay parts don't seem to have 4670A586 listed which is the Mitsubishi Evo X part number, hence trying to understand are the Lancer and ASX really different even though they have different part numbers to the X?

Yeh, noticed a few like those, still don’t understand why ASX and base Lancer would be different? Speaking to one of the brake guys here at JLR they are not that complicated and £280 odd is definitely taking the [email protected]#*

The only hard bit about fitting them is getting the old one out. Besides that its a quick easy job. If you dont manage to find 1 with the correct numbers, before spending a fortune for new, i'd be tempted to try 1 like that, that is advertised as for an evo, see if it works, as a newly fitted 1 will come back out easily enough if not. Just think for the sake of a tenner, with no other options its worth a try. Maybe message the seller to be sure he says its suitable for an evo, before you purchase
