** EVO 6 Zero Fighter **

Does anyone know if the Zero Fighter Evo 6 has the standard Evo 6 GSR interior and if the dash panel is digital like the GSR the Extreme UK version has a manual dash panel.

Thanks

The Zero Fighter E6 is more myth than reality. The nearest for the UK market was the 6 Extreme.

When you say “digital”, do you mean the heater unit? That denotes climate control, but the UK Extrene didn’t have it, although I believe most if not all had aircon.

UK cars were based on an Evo 6 RS2 platform,

Not sure about the Zero fighter, they never really took off in Japan.

The 1 I'm interested in has the same body kit as the Extreme but looks just like a 6 GSR interior wise.

Think I will give that a miss as don't know enough info on the car to warrant the price tag as it could just be a 6 GSR with the bodykit.

I am not sure how the Japanese specced theirs,

As you say they may have been able to order a GSR/RS/RS2 with the kit, the UK ones were all done as RS2 models.

Have to check if it is an RS model first I think and go from there.

Any link to the call you are interested in? I could easily tell you differences between it and a UK Extreme. Things like radio aerial position, rear garnish lights, dash clocks, seats. Also, does it have abs, rs diff, Meister wheels. And can you see "Ralliart" in raised lettering on the side skirts?

Based on the ad there are lots of differences to a UK Extreme - for example, seats, aircon (as you know), dash clocks, boot garnish lights (none), rear wiper (shouldn't have one), wheels, radio aerial (should be on o/s A pillar), and I believe most if not all had the set of three Ralliart gauges in the centre console.

The zero fighter was a dealer option.

They used a few different models as the base car.

Mine is a gsr base car with loads of extra ralliart additions. It also has the gsr clocks etc.
