Rough SELLING price for a very good red TME

Just wondered what they are actually selling for....

I would consider mine to help towards a house move if the price os right.

The advertised price's seem so up and down so just wondered if anyone has actually sold or purchased one recently, if so at what price (pm if its easier) The car has been agreed by the insurance company for a decent amout so i have a rough idea, but thats me!

Mine is a 1 owner 54k in ex cond, zero rust, none special colour pack etc

Stage 1 bolt on mods with most original parts, wheels done 20 miles since refurb. Nick at NR said it was one of the best he had seen for a long time when he last serviced it!

Its been in dry storage for the last 2 years as i have been pretty busy with other commitments, the car has been started up once a month.

Any pointers would be good

market is horrendous at the moment,

12-18 months ago it would of walked 30-35k

Now I think to sell it would have to be 25k

It will stay where it is then. I turned down a strong offer around 18 months ago

Hopefully it will pick back up

They’ll be legal in the US for import in 2025.

I’m hedging my bets that they are going to increase quite considerably.

They’ve only been able to see them in video games or Initial D (animated series about JDM)...

Agree on that but 2025 is a few years away yet.....

Time will tell i guess, i know the ones for sale at the min dont seem to be moving, could be a few reasons for that though

I'd leave it where it is if you can mate.

The market is nowhere near what it was a year or so ago, perhaps prices (for all evos ) were artificially inflated with the whole modern classic boom which now seems to have really tailed off / cooled down and perhaps beginning to find their true value. This is not just the case with evos either.

Hopefully you didn't buy it at their peak prices , if that's the case and you have owned it a while then you're laughing anyway.

I think the whole brexit thing is worrying the investor market and could have potential to change things dramatically in regards to cars but time will tell on that one.

Sold my white mak recently on here for £16k albeit it wasn't red but it sold no bother. I had a few people genuinely interested in it at £18k but nothing came of the interest. Dropped the price to £16k and it sold quickly.

Heard from a few other owners it should have been priced higher but it wasn't selling at the higher price.
Mine was for sale at the same time as few other mak's on here which are still for sale and I now notice the prices dropping to the same as what I sold mine for.

If it's priced right it will sell, i still see the same cars are still for sale 4-5 months later with big price tags £30k+. They are either not worth the price tag or they are overpriced imo.

Their boom of going up 5k a year has stopped simple as, but it will be back as soon as the states can get their hands on them, the R32/33/34 is a prime example, the Americans buy them up, store them a few years before and then ship them to the us post 25 years... if you don’t need the cash, save it for a bigger pay out in 7 years time... also, drive it in that time, I know I do, once it’s gone you won’t buy another... not a proper red package one anyway!!

If I were looking to say buy a property / invest in property then I'd take a sensible bid as it's pointless holding out 'in case they go up' as property certainly will go up by 2025.
That said, if I'd forseen the price that R32's would rise to I'd have bought 15 or 20 and locked them away in my unit When I think back of some I'd brought in owing me so little such as a genuine V Spec R32 for £3250 and a mint modded 32 for £5k
