Painting Carbon Fiber

So, as the title suggests, is it possible to paint CF different colours while still maintaining the pattern of the CF?

I would like to buy a CF spark plug cover (which is in black) and paint it (if it is possible).

Came across these guys: http://www.hypetex.com/

Any info appreciated

carbon is a smooth finish so any paint would cover it

unless its a very very very thinnined out paint

coloured woven materail isnt uncomman ive red carbon mirrors on my rally car ,its died kevlar ,but its not carbon fibre thats BLACK in its nature
the colour comes from died woven glass so it retains the look of carbon and can be just as strong in some cases
the skill is using nice resins to enhance the colour ,most cheaper resins and processes will distort the WOW factor from the colour
