TME Enhancement and Ceramic Coating by DetailR

Following 4 months sitting in the garage, my TME was delivered to detailR in Milton Keynes last week, looking very sorry for itself.

I had been in communication with Richard since October, when I bought the car. Carefully planning the job to bring the whole package together, ready for spring.

The brief was;
  • 2 Stage enhancement
  • Engine Bay freshen up
  • Interior detail,
  • Headlight restoration
  • 9H Ceramic Coating

Whilst the Evo was in for treatment I wanted to install a SCP stripe kit before the Coating was applied.

Richard was very accommodating in poilishing the areas where the stickers needed to be placed first of all, so that they could be applied and he could then continue the enhancement work and apply the coating.

After days of pampering, here she is. To say I'm pleased, is a massive understatement. Richard has really performed miracles on the car.

I'll let the photos do the talking.

Can't beat a ceramic coating on top of a well detailed car.

I applied them myself. I've done a lot of graphics over the years on cars and have a bit of sympathy when it comes to applying them.

I used some of Richard's 'PPF application spray' which allows you to slide the graphic into place, remove and spray again where necessary. I would say I spent 2.5 hours total on them getting them right.

Looks like they (and you) have done an awesome job. Do you have any before and after pics of the engine bay?

No I havent, to be honest it needs some attention to get it to a level worthy of showing off.
