my french blue evo7
evo 7...
the spec was kinda of unknown but from what i know it had a rsr cat back de cat downpipe manifold rs turbo intercooler pipes blitz dump valve and some sort of springs ![]() ![]() i bought the car with a hub bearing gone so replaced it with a new one ![]() ![]() i then decided to tackle the wheels...... as my funds were low i decided to paint them just to take the bad look of them ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() took the car for a good spin to really see what they are like ![]() seems to be quick enough on the back roads ![]() i was driving home when a conrod decided to for a leap out the front of the block so at the minute she is off the road but soon to return ![]() ![]() ![]() |

one of the few holes
![]() engine is out...... bt ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() new engine arrived thanks to (rob gsr) engine spec evo7 block evo8 mr crank, rods and pistons evo8/9 mr head gasket fully rebuilt acl bearings arp studs ![]() we found the cause to the engine failure it was caused by oil starvation... the oil pick up was blocked ny a piece of foil on closer inspection it looked like the seal from a bottle of oil ![]() ![]() the piston and the rod ![]() engine ready to go with its heat wrapped manifold ![]() bell housing being replaced ![]() new fuel pump ![]() new braided lines ![]() also picked up a set of 18 inch ultralites ![]() downpipe and decat heat wrapped ![]() ![]() engine ready to go back in ![]() she is nearly their engine is in and brakes are all blead and the ultralites are fitted ![]() ![]() ![]() |
