my french blue evo7

evo 7...
the spec was kinda of unknown but from what i know it had a
rsr cat back
de cat
downpipe
manifold
rs turbo
intercooler pipes
blitz dump valve
and some sort of springs

i bought the car with a hub bearing gone so replaced it with a new one

i then decided to tackle the wheels...... as my funds were low i decided to paint them just to take the bad look of them

took the car for a good spin to really see what they are like

seems to be quick enough on the back roads

i was driving home when a conrod decided to for a leap out the front of the block so at the minute she is off the road but soon to return

one of the few holes

engine is out...... bt bt bt bt

new engine arrived thanks to (rob gsr)

engine spec

evo7 block
evo8 mr crank, rods and pistons
evo8/9 mr head gasket
fully rebuilt
acl bearings
arp studs

we found the cause to the engine failure

it was caused by oil starvation...
the oil pick up was blocked ny a piece of foil
on closer inspection it looked like the seal from a bottle of oil

the piston and the rod

engine ready to go with its heat wrapped manifold

bell housing being replaced

new fuel pump

new braided lines

also picked up a set of 18 inch ultralites

downpipe and decat heat wrapped

engine ready to go back in

she is nearly their

engine is in and brakes are all blead and the ultralites are fitted
