I stopped using the iphone-i could never get anywhere near the end of the contract without smashing the screen a number of times. An unbreakable screen now that's an innovation.

Thats one thing you will never see fitted to them!!! - they would have to make the battery life even shorter!!

The one thing that would be a 100% improvement in the evolution of them would be a stronger screen!

I have had iPhone for the last few years but the pricing has just become ridiculous. I refuse to part with over 700 quid for the latest plus model....

I have just bought a new OnePlus3T after much research and I am instantly converted. It makes the iPhone look like its made for the more simple minded individual..

I got a Vodafone ultra 6, unlocked it for 99p and it's been beltin' and they're only £80 brand new.
Does everything the iphone does. Not as easy to use but looks good and the battery and 5.5" screen quality is top notch.

There is definitely a trend of moving away from the big brand names and flagship phones, guess they have just got too expensive, be it over a contract period or out right, for very little gain for the average user

I always had the latest flagship phone, then a few years ago dropped a level, so for example the s4 mini instead of the s4, and that never felt like a step backwards from previous phones, but saved me a fair bit

this time round Im still so happy with my existing phone, again 1 down from flagship at the time, that when my 2 year contract ended, i've gone sim only and stuck with my HTC ONE mini 2

I made the switch from iPhone to Android a few years back. First with an S3 and now the Google Nexus line of phones. Can't justify buying Googles latest phone as they have started pricing them up at the same level as the iPhone.

We were chatting about how the latest phones are now very expensive over the weekend. Personally I think it is just a rip off, considering very similar phones are substantially cheaper. I wonder if less and less people are buying them because of the inflated prices, which in turn leads to more inflated prices.

I went from Apple to Samsung and have now gone to a Lumia Windows 10 phone which I like. I got fed up with Apple when they changed the charging port rendering about half a dozen items in the house redundant!

I then got fed up with Android recently when something else I will never use was installed on my phone by Samsung (and it is not removable).

I certainly will not be buying a £700 iphone in the near future! Especially as no, it will not change everything!

That's why I changed from Samsung to the Nexus line. No crappy overlays on the OS. Just pure clean android.

Yet again I have to wonder....have I been taking crazy pills? You guys know that's not the iPhone 8? That that guy knows nothing about the iPhone 8? That's just how he would like it to look and what features he'd like to see?
