Evo 5 Exhaust system

Just wondering what is the best system to go for?

Anyone had experiences with the Mongoose turbo back system?

Cheers

Russ fellows cat back, with m2 decat, m2 downpipe and m2 turbo elbow, although russ does make decat and silenced decat pipes too !
Build quality on my russ fellows cat back is brilliant !

Russ also makes them track friendly with bigger silencer if you wish, and stright or slash cut tip and/or polished or burnt tip

I have a C-tec manifold and modular downpipe with a RF cat back.

In my opinion the quality of C-tec is superior to RF admittedly I am no expert and have no experience of welding but to look at C-tec wins for me. Just my opinion.

However, C-tec is a fair chunk of cash more than an RF system so there is that to take in to account also. For the money RF is a very good buy.

I’m sure you wouldn’t be disappointed with either.

What bolts did you use to connect the elbow to the turbo?

I got a Russ fellow system (with the M2 dowbpipe and elbow) and it sounds great. Removable bung with it too and the angled exit looks awesome. Very nice piece of kit and incredibly reasonable price. I had the HKS hi power silent before and it was too quiet for my liking

I had just had the turbo off and rebuilt at midlands turbo, and they fitted all new studs in the turbo and just bought some new nuts for it
