Evo 6 Piston Oil Squirters

Greetings!

We are assembling a 4G63 for the first time. It is a bare block and lacks quite a few items.

We have discovered it is missing piston oil squirters. We have read they may or may not be required. We would like to use them for our forged Mahle pistons, no matter.

Evo 6 appears to be no longer available.

It seems we may employ Evo 7 parts...

Do we only need the squirter and the oil jet bolt x 4? No other parts? It is difficult to tell in the diagrams.

Piston Squirter Bolt x 4 MIT/MD372046

Hi Tim,

The later sqirters will fit (E9 may be better as longer, although you'd need to check). Yes, it's just the squirter and bolt, that's it.

Make sure you check the clearance when using forged pistons to make sure there's no contact.

To close this out...the previous owner called and said he found 98 more fasteners...along with the four piston oil squirters...likely Evo 5 variety.

Test fitted...looks like we are in business.
