Hi si

I don't suppose you would do a deal with one of your old to4z turbo kits for one of these would you. I want to downsize turbo but realy like the look of these kits.

Not stupid at all Sir, it's actually one of the benefits of these turbos as the plumbing is much more simple.

The reason is these particular Precision turbos feature ceramic ball bearing cores and have air cooling ribs on the bearing housing, whereas many other turbos have steel ball bearings and plastic bearing cages which melt if you don't run water through them.

Hope that answers your question?

Cheers

How does the spool and response compare - 5.5 vs the 6.0?
Practically same price, so it's tempting!

The 6R has about 300rpm slower spool compared to the 5.5R.

True, but don't get carried away! The kits are identical so if in the future you wanted to upgrade to 6R you would ONLY have to buy the turbo itself.

Cheers

Ha, you're right. I'm sure 5.5r will be fast enough. You think we'd be able to get 570-580 with this setup? Kelfords and stage 2 Head?

Yes, ND5.5R is a great turbo setup for a 2.0 on the road! I reckon so, we're using V Power fuel right? Time will tell of course!

Cheers
