343 mm alcons fit tight into MR BBS, no chance of running weights in the inside edge between the caliper and rim... and 355 GrN brembos are a REALLY tight fit into 17 in..

What matters is the direction of the inner cooling vanes. The direction shown below encourages air flow from inside to out for optimum cooling. Normally the grooves are cut in opposite direction for best strength/ minimum stress so OPs are correct.
edit: cheap discs might have straight cooling vanes so it then doesn't matter.

Does anybody know if the 9MR BBS rims have better or worse clearance than the 8MR wheels?
