First look at fitting the offside "cyber" extension. Bit of trimming required to Voltex wing.

Extension temp fixed on and that is so that i can fit the wing back on the car and ensure that it aligns with the bumper. Will then bond it to the wing.

Will also trim back the original lip for increased clearance.

That's looks awesome, are they genuine voltex extensions?

The carbon against the black looks stunning

Thanks Pal. I bought them from Rosssport and the fit perfect so they must be

I'll be having them painted amethyst anyway but it is a bonus that they are carbon

Spent all day today bonding one of them on. Lots of trimming required to the original Voltex fender to make the extension fit and allow the extra clearance for the wider tyres. Bit brave cutting up a perfect and expensive panel but needs must

Made a start on the nearside wing. Need to cut out the scoop and take over an inch off the arch rim

Bonded on now. Clamps and vice grips everywhere

All right, Gordon...loving your work!
Just out of interest, who have you got painting your car, because he ,she or they (keeping all options open for the politically correct times we are living in)must be pretty special for you to let them work on your car!
I might go down the restoration route on the underneath of mine and then get the whole car resprayed , so it would be nice to know that there is someone local who i could entrust with my car.
Looking forward to seeing how your one turns out.

Could not resist a test fit now that the extension has bonded. Happy with the alignment between arch and bumper.

i had to cut the **** out of the Voltex wing to fit the extension and make clearance for the wide wheel. Had visions of messing it all up but glad to see it turned out fine.

I'll be more confident doing the other side and rear extensions now.

It looks amazing, really like the carbon against the black myself, but it's your car so totally get why you want them painted.
