Oil catch can plumbing

Currently have a query on the above system fitted to my car and the correct plumbing. Believed to be a Neverneverman breather system. As seen in the pics both outlets are plumbed to the cam cover, one from the rear, the other from the right hand side as viewed from the front and wanted to check this was correct as I always thought one return would be lower?

Any thoughts or feedback on this would be much appreciated.:smthumbup

Oil breather plumbing on Volvo T5/focus st

Sorry to hijack a thread but this is about a problem on my relatives Volvo T5 which is same engine as a focus st anyway looking for a bit of help it had an aftermarket breather/ oil separator kit fitted now here's where it gets complicated the kit originally came with a modified oil filter housing for the extra pipe and said housing has failed and now been replaced with updated standard one but I don't suppose anyone knows whether this could just be t pieced to the separator instead of buying the pro alloy breather plate at over 100 quid for what seems like just a second outlet I believe Volvo/Focus PCV systems are some of the most complicated?
