Just picked up a full Ralliart hard pipe kit for the 9. Not sure whether to fit it or not though. What’s people’s opinion over the stock HKS kit?

Definitely fit it, itís got to be at least as good as the HKS but sooo much cooler!

I have the upper Ralliart pipe fitted on my 9 but couldnít source the rest; can I ask where and how you sourced yours though?

Update

So after seeing a really nice 9GT in white at a recent event, I decided I needed one - a rarer model and what some would say is the ultimate evo 9, the best of both worlds. Someone put a post on here looking for a red 9 and a few days later with discussions back and forth the deal was done and the new owner collected the car. Sad to see it go, but I had my mind set on a GT.

Could I find one, no chance. Literally none for sale in white. Anyway, a member on here contacted me saying they may sell theirs for the right price. After probably a hundred photos (I think the guy was getting sick of me asking questions ) I committed to make the journey. Yesterday, I made the 8 hour round trip and I was not disappointed.

Below are a few photos of the car. I've already added my ralliart mirrors and started to clean it up in a few places. Also fitted a brand new set of window strips. Its not perfect but a very good base to start from.

Its had a few nice upgrades,

Norris Rod Job
Tomei cams
1000cc injectors
Hybrid 71 series turbo
Link G4 ecu
Meister R Coilovers
Pro Race 1.2 wheels
Tomei TI Exhaust (which il be changing)

I plan to change the turbo to a 20g 80 series and a fresh map to suit and then I will be leaving it at that.

Few little updates, starting to make to GT my own. I've been cleaning the engine bay up, rebuilding with new OEM bolts thanks to Ross Sport. Also re-painted the rocker cover to freshen that up.

The main improvement was the headlights. They were very discoloured so a good cut and polish was in order.

Next job is to tackle the paintwork!

Here's a few pics.
