Hi everyone,
just joined so still finding my way around here. saw this post so thought id just ask a similar related question. Ive just purchased a 7 fresh import and wanted to make sure to treat it underneath before any corrosion takes hold. Would appreciate any advice on best products or garages who offer a good service.

Thanks

Fair play that was quick! Looking good... Mine took over 6 months.

Weird how you didn't get in with the rust bullet. .... The time scales are ridiculous but it's good stuff. Mine is like new after nearly 2 years.

I donít know what went wrong with the rust bullet - gut feeling is it wanted priming first but their guidelines say different. Either way I wasnít happy with how it had taken and wasnít prepared to leave it like that. Just meant more rubbing down . Thanks for your help along the way Phil

Since getting the car home i haven't had much time to do any more work on it. It still needs AYC bleed and wheel alignment doing which im hoping to get booked in for over the next few weeks.

Once back home i removed the seats and carpet and gave it all a good clean with a wet vac before putting back in. While the carpet was out, i removed all the rubber grommets in the floor pan, clean the paint off them from the resto and replaced - just looks a neater job underneath rather than leaving them painted over i think.

Also, a job ive been meaning to do for a while, colour change for the rocker cover. rubbed down and painted in grey.
