Evo 8 JDM Ecu Into Evo 6 Help
Hey - I ended up finding a cheap JDM e8 Ecu that I'm going to put into my 6. I've been trying to match up the pins and everything seems to be ok except for the diagnostic pins from the 6. The 6 has 3 "Diagnostic" pins:

Not worth the effort, the cost off connectors or a patch lead is £100(ish) to £300+
if you need a later ECU look for Evo7, E8 260 or earlier USDM Evo. Thees will plug in , you'd then have to a few wires around ![]() |

I got the connectors from a junkyard for cheap (ECU connectors for 1999 USDM Subaru Forester) and bought a used harness extension that I'm going to cut up. It's going to be a lot cheaper than purchasing a USDM E8 ecu ($300+ in Canada) |
