Sorry to look at the downside to this esp on a Friday! but it is abit easier for planes to be targeted by terrorists if they had these jet packs!

Well they'd need a helicopter or plane to launch from before they can get airborne in the first instance. Then there's the years of skydiving experience required in order to fly a track position that strongly. And we haven't even considered the fact that there's only a few of these in existence globally. Then we have to remember that these packs are only really capable of hitting around 190mph in a full decending track whilst a Boeing 787 (when not posing near stall in a circle pattern for publicity shots) is capable of some 593mph.

All in all I'd say it's easier to target a plane at take off with an RPG so no not really easier at all. But lets not fact get in the way of fear mongering

*EDIT: Sorry I got the plane wrong it's actually an Airbus A380 capable of some 633mph I think

If anything seeing the size of the plane in comparison to the two jet packers reminds just how amazing it is that we can fly something of such size and weight.
