Steve Hill at Rallycross Superprix - Sunday 6th Nov at Croft

Former British National Rally champion Steve Hill and Portuguese Rallycross front running driver, Multiclima have confirmed that they will both be racing their Mitsubishi Lancers in the 2005 CD Bramall Rallycross Superprix, which will take place at Croft Circuit on Sunday November 6th.

British driver, Steve Hill is racing at Croft with his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 3. It will be the second outing for the car since it has been rebuilt following his car destroying accident in the Dutch Rallycross Masters back in July. This is Steve’s first season in Rallycross and he hopes that the improvements to the car and extra performance from the engine will help the team achieve a good result in the Superprix. Further developments to the car are planned for the short winter break prior to the first event in the 2006 Rallycross Super Series.

Multiclima will be venturing to England for the first time in his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6 and is looking for a strong result to round of his season. His son will also be racing in the event, driving a Citroen AX Gti in the Division 1A category.

Multiclima and Steve Hill will join the other 18 division 1 Supercars at the event making up a 20 car field who will battle it out for the superprix title.

The Rallycross Promoters Ltd team have gathered no less than 5 national champions and 7 times European champion Kenneth Hansen to the event. The line up also includes former WRC man Per Eklund in his Saab 93-Aero along with drivers from Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Holland and Poland.

Tickets for the Rallycross Superprix event (cost £12 in advance) can now be purchased on the official Croft Circuit website - www.CroftCircuit.co.uk, or by telephoning 01325 721815

Just got back.

Those Supercars are awsome.

550BHP and 0-60mph in less than 2 seconds.

The flying RWD Volvos are pretty spectacular also!
