We are trying to get to a stage where we can finally start putting it back together but more bits seem to still be coming off.... Removed the under bonnet insulation last week so we can start cleaning up the bonnet, intercooler is now off again for a freshen up... The jobs keep growing
I will post up some pics of the zorst in a bit... Can't fault it, it fitted straight on with no fuss... Sounds awesome too... Fitted it to the black tme

Well I thought it was time for another update Apologies for the poor picture quality but my camera is 12 years old & starting to show its age

Both Ja & I have been working on the car mainly in the evenings which seems to be the only time we get to ourselves

The car is booked in for its MOT next Wednesday & with that in mind we decided it really was time to put it back together rather then taking more bits off of it There are many more jobs to do but these will be done over the the next year or so & I will keep this thread updated at all times as to the TME's progress

Right, so we need to get the engine bay back together, machine polish the complete car, reasemble the rear spoiler & refit. Refit the skirts, lights & bumper....doesn't sound like much but trust me when I say it takes hours Every nut, bolt or washer that has been removed has been cleaned up prior to refitting. The underneath of the bonnet has been stripped & cleaned/polished....a blimming fiddly & arm aching job
All bodywork has been cleaned & sealed while the various body parts were removed.
Before resealing the paint the decals also had to be applied...another fiddly time comsuming job that caused a few swear words along the way

Anyway here are the snaps which I'm sure you'd rather see then reading about progress

First pass with the machine polisher, 50/50. You can see the reflections on the right of the bonnet are blurred & not as sharp as the reflections on the left side that has been polished

P8061561

Various pics during the polishing

P7291527
P7271558
P7261530

This side before polishing, the paint is very flat & lifeless

P7311547

This photo was taken later of the above same side..see the difference in the finish/general look of the paint

P8211599

The rear bumper...quite sorry for itself..

P7311541

Rear polished...finally looking a little better..

P8231532

Boot finally being polished/cleaned up prior to the refitting of the spoiler..

P7261526
P3121286
P7311551

Time to start the decals....first up mark up a straight line...

P8011537

The decals come in strips which you need to cut into their various sections...

P8021543
P8021544
P8011538
P8011536

Lots more progress pics to come.....I will post later tonight, I promise Run out of time this morning.

The paint on Evos from stock is bloody shocking, grrrr. Great job so far you two, keep it up and it'll be a stunner once all complete, PS good luck with the MOT too.

Nice work going on here.

Quick question mate, where'd you get the ralliart and Mitsi stickers from. I've got a stripe kit, just need the other bits.
