Turbo Flow Rate - Infomation Thread
Hi Guys, This may have been done before but can't find any threads so thought I would post my own. I have been searching for a turbo suitable for my built for the past few weeks, in my search I have gathered flow rate info on a lot of turbos ranging from standard to 1000bhp capable. There may be a few missing and some info may need changing but feel free to add and correct. After all input I would like to have a full list of turbo's and flow rates to help anybody who is trying to decide on a turbo.

TTS214 has the same flow rate as the S205, it's just better on a stroker due to the nature of the cutback turbine wheel.
The Billet versions should flow approx 56-57lb/min. TTS204 is approx 42lb/min TTS209 is approx 45lb/min As an aside, an interesting fact to note is that the BBK-B despite it's supposed higher flow rate isn't quite matching the S205s figures as yet. Martyn

Kenny to my knowledge there is no such turbo as a gt850r. The GT acronym is usually for Garrett Turbo stuff.
AMS did have a turbo kit called the GT850r The turbo it uses is actually a Precision Turbo PT6262 http://www.precisionturbo.net/Street...PT6262-CEA/245 This puppy Although relatively unknown here in the UK, Precision Turbo's are massive in the US and there aftermarket turbos are a popular choice for many tuners turbo kits like AMS and Underground Racing for example. ![]() Last edited by kins; 02-05-2011 at 15:19.. |

We have seen the S209 produce up to 450bhp on our dyno and I have seen people report up to 470bhp. Martyn

Yes I think so Keith. I'm not sure why there are contradicting figures if this is the case.
