Definitely not a good idea. They're set up for a completely different car, so could easily cause problems with yours.

Go for a full remap option, but I'd at least fit a new full 3" exhaust first to make the gains worthwhile.

Brilliant post very useful to someone like myself being pretty new to the evo scene and not knowing whats what in so much detail.

One thing I would be interested in knowing what intercooler to go with if doing the entire list of mods which you have provided. There are so many options sizes and kits list is endless

It's been proved the standard I/C is well capable of handling a stage 1 mod. You're restricted anyway if you've still got the original GT turbo, don't think they can make 400/400
