Some nice mods there ppl

Just a suggestion................ can you put links up to where it was/is you are getting your upgrades from??
Would help others who are looking to do similar stuff find the parts easier and maybe do some price checking!!!

Well, it was quite a while ago but I will have a try at listing some mods and rough costs..................

Stage 1 remap to 300bhp
EVO X IC £100 secondhand from this forum.
Remap about £500, depends on if it is ECUTEK or some other?

Stage 2 Brakes
Wheels - Option1 EVO X OEM about £400 secondhand or Option2 New Rotas or similar about £700
BBK - STOPTECH £2000 or can get others for £1500?

Stage 3 Full EVO X turbo swap to 360bhp
EVO X turbo £700 secondhand or £1200 new?
All the other EVO X bits to fit the above about £500?
Full custom turbo back SS exhaust inc sports cat £1000
Remap about £500, depends on if it is ECUTEK or some other?

Stage 4 Aftermarket turbo and Gearbox upgrade? 420bhp
Not done it yet but expect it would be £5000 for the box and another £2000 for the turbo and remap???

Sorry, might have got some of that wrong and forgotten some bits?

Just to make it less expensive than an X. Engine and drivetrain are basically the same with minor differences such as cams and no AYC.

Main changes are smaller turbo and IC, hence the reason to change to X turbo and IC.

Also, they have shockingly awful brakes, they are the same as the outlander and are toast after 3 x 100 mph stops!

All easily upgradeable now!

SST upgrade

Just completed TRL SST upgrade with SSP 600 bhp clutch packs and Viton seals. Original standard gearbox had started to slip after 40k miles with 360 bhp. Now it is running 400/400 the upgrade was essential, shift speed is great in super sport mode. Not tried launch control yet.

Stage 1 cams upgrade

Just completed TRL stage 1 cam upgrade. RA has softer cams than EVO X so good upgrade for increased power.
2 pics below are before and after the cams.
