Evo IV dual map?

Car has an evo V ecu, while trying to edit the tune for larger injectors it kept failing in ECUflash, so I found a pop&cracks tune in the forum from Starkers from 2009. Decided to see if it would flash and it did. I canít find a write up on how to do dual maps in this car, but his map sounds epic and Iíd like to keep it for occasional use. Any info on running dual map would be awesome

For the Evo V ECU, you can only have switchable maps if it's the Ceddymods version, Your definition would have the alternate maps defined as well. The map switching is controlled by grounding pin 44.

Evo 5 definitions and ROM are at the bottom of this page:
http://ceddy.us/store/

More info on Ceddymod here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CeddyMods/c..._features_and/

Also I hope you know the tuning basics before you put some other person's tune onto your ECU.

Thanks for the info, also I did a general look into his map before I threw it in, decided it wouldnít do anything wild (I have an extra ECU, so once I was comfortable with his tune not thrashing my engine) I put the tune on. I ended up making edits after a couple short drives. I just want the switchable maps, I spent most of the day trying to get Ceddymods to work but for some reason I canít get it into ecuflash, gonna delete it all tomorrow and try again

Have you looked at the MEMModel of the Ceddymod definition file and your type of ECU. As there is difference between the F and FA MEMModel which can cause the upload of the ROM to fail.

Have you looked at the correct MEMModel for the Ceddymod definition for your ecu, there is difference between the F and FA model which can cause issues whilst uploading the ROM to the ECU

Sorry just saw this, I searched in the forum to find it. Try searching evo v pops and bangs. Iíve severely edited it at this point to fit what I wanted out of it. If youíre throwing it in a evo 4 it needs injectors scaled and size set.
