Suspension - what Evo model suspension fits TME

Just wondered if anyone can advise - what other Evo models can have suspension transferred onto a TME as a factory fit?

And would those models suspension perform the same ie does the TME have different damping etc

Want to put ‘factory’ shocks back on instead of coilovers.

Many thanks

Already plenty of TME suspension topics in the suspension section. Worth a read!

As far as I know 4,5,6 fit the TME and 7,8,9 can be fitted using a kit from Ross Sport:

Every time I see the price of that "kit" I always have a good wry chuckle to myself.

It was more the specific differences between the suspension eg dampening rates, not so much the bolt in pattern.

I did search but couldn’t find that. Are you able to post a link please?

Ross Sport sell genuine springs and dampers, they list the same part for Evo 4-6 & TME indicating there is no difference in the shocks or springs on the TME.

think it's not the same for Evo 5 or 6 or TME... it fit but different factory option

if you put a GSR 5 VIN in Partsouq and check the ref for the front suspension spring,
it give MB856411

if you make the same thing with my TME RS VIN, I have MR510097 as result...

so i think it's not the same.

on partsouq (again...) you can find that

which show that there is different options (I think) for suspensions?

(but the ref aren't the same that MR510097 found on the other page on partsouq...)

I think it's difficult to find what was put on the car in factory if you don't have the original parts under your eyes...

Good luck

There were some different part numbers for different colour springs.

Front Spring - MR510096 (white/green)
Front Spring - MR491340 (yellow/blue)
Front Spring - MR510097 (white/white)
Front Spring - MB856411 (yellow/green)
Front Spring - MB856412 (yellow/white)

How many are still in production and if there is any difference in spring rate though, you might wanna phone Ross Sport and ask.
The spring they list is Front Spring - MR510096 £117
