Audi RS4 (B7)

2007. Immaculate car inside and out. Recently had a 2 day detail with Gtechnic products which lasts for 2 years. Alloys recently refurbished / as new. Great tyres. All common issues have been sorted (at 52k miles - New oil cooler & pipes / DRC sorted / Full carbon clean / invoice for £3,500). Recent new discs & pads all round, inc brake fluid change to 5.1. Flat bottom steering wheel. Carbon fibre inlays. Heated electrical Leather Recaro sport seats. Satnav. Full service history. Under warranty until end of Feb 2020. Folder full of receipts for everything done since new. Totally standard car in exceptional condition - very hard to find like this. I looked at 5 others before buying this one and haven't had any issues - this is a very reluctant sale due to change of job forcing sale. The mileage will not increase - car in garage with a cover on. Private plate not included. 69,500 miles. £18,750.
Located in South Shields, Tyne & Wear.

Hi no - also losing my company car (Octavia VRS) as job is changing so now need 1 car to do both jobs 7 days a week.
I only ever have manual gearbox and petrol engine and preferably 4wd, but don't like Golf R or Audi S3 so doesn't leave many options !! (S1 too small).
So I was looking at another A5 Quattro TFSi but not many around and they are a bit "old" inside now - plus only 225bhp, so then looked back at hot hatches. Not interested in Golf's or the horrendous Civic Type R. Don't like Renaults.
Test drove a Hyundai I30N but they are very cheap interior (like an Evo !!) and then took a Leon Cupra 300 out and was well impressed so getting one of those

Doesn’t really do anything for me, would have opted for the 7.5 R. Each to their own though.

Nice one , does the Cupra have an LSD ? seem to remember the lack of one was your main gripe with last one you had.

Yeah it does Ian - several tests on youtube compare it to the Golf R as it's the nearest thing powerwise, albeit lighter. Most of them also say its a far more exciting drive than the R.

Evo mag recently put it up against the Civic type R, VW clubsport S and the Focus RS, and was only slower on 0-60, however was quicker than them all in 3rd gear acceleration tests and 2nd quickest on the track only one hundredth behind the clubsport S

Appreciate they aren't outrageous to look at - quite a sleeper actually.

296bhp and 280lb/ft.
1360kg.

My brother has the pre face-lift one with the 290.

Love it. Absolutely love it.

It's pretty potent as well, he's able to keep up and we always take nice drives together.

Has a nice character as well. You can go from full eco, comfortable and quiet to full mental with hard suspension and loud exhaust just by changing driver profiles.

Besides a water pump and suspension change at 50K km it's pretty reliable as well.
