Gowran FOS 2019 Lancer 2000

We had a weekend of motorsport last weekend, Hillclimb in Nr Kilkenny, Gowran Festival of Speed and finished off with an afternnoon at the rally school near Dungarven.
As soon as we parked up I spotted this and got talking to the owner, some nice history with this, although a little sad.
Its getting to the point were maybe a decision may need to be made, to restore it fully, some small bits of rust starting show.

The under bonnet is very similar to the '84 Starion, just a different air filter/airflow housing and power steering.

I do a lot of work on Classic Mitsubishi's for David Blackburns son Stephen, i know for sure he would love to be reunited with this car or even get in contect with the owner.
Any owner contact details?

I didn't get any more details from the owner. I got the impression he was not going to sell it, because of the personal involvement with his deceased friend.

I went to Myerscough College in Lancashire at the same time Robert "Bob" McCarthy did, if its the same guy. He was a lovely person and was a shame what happened to him, at no age too.
