Thanks for the reply - very interesting indeed.

Sorry, yes I have the turbo, it's been mapped recently and is only making about 16/17 psi at 3500rpm (peak boost is 26psi)...I wasn't sure what the norm was you see. I do however have a very smooth torque curve on purpose and wondered whether it isn't on full boost as soon to prevent any torque spikes.

Mine is 2.0L, standard cams.

I'll message you my number and I'll send you my graph too.

Cheers.

Mike

My 7460 oem long block TME, HKS 274/276, hit any boost (pump 25psi, 1.65 Bar, E85 29psi 2 Bar) by 3300-3350 rpm. 16psi (1.1 Bar) by 3000 rpm.

Took mine out yesterday first time and the b roads is where this turbo works so well as corners taken in 3rd or 4th the turbo is so flexible it just pulls and spins up so easy.

Evening everyone,
Slightly unrelated, but was wondering what a standard Evo revs to in neutral.
Never rev nine out, but reved it briefly today when warm and the limiter was cutting in at 5 500 rpm.
Is this because the car wasn't loaded up as I'm sure it hits the redline when in gear.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Lee

Itís called a stationary rev limit or something like that. Thatís what is supposed to happen , stops you over revving

I agree, this is where mine really shines. Sometimes a little scary how instant the power is. This is the transient response everyone told me about before I actually bought one.

Mine is about the same at 3.5k, great responsive turbo, although changing to a full frame soon.
