Halfords Advanced have been solid for me. Just bear in mind that if the staff want to be awkward, the policy on lifetime guarantee means you have to keep your receipt. I've had to replace two items. One staff member never asked for a receipt but said they should and the other asked for it and showed me their policy so just keep it in mind. Some Snap On tools I have are nice but nowhere near what the cost. While we were still dating the now Wife bought me a long reach 3/8 ratchet and socket set and only years later did she tell me it cost her about £300. Insane for one ratchet and ten sockets.

I have to admit I love a bit length myself.

Every since I tried a long ratchet and where there is space it's what I prefer.

I have a few Teng bits and also some Draper Expert. Any opinions on them?

Thanks in advance
I think its hard to beat the Halfords Advanced gear, esp. when they have a sale on

If you ask the lads in your local shop theyíll tell you. Probably very soon!
I bought a huge set of the Advanced range years ago and when a ratchet bar failed they replaced it straight away without a receipt.Pleasure to use. I think Snap On are probably the best but the Halfords gear is a fraction of the price.
