North West and Midlands Joint Mega Meet - Sunday 17th March - Chester

Hey guys,

I am pleased to announce that I have successfully taken over North West region after a hard fought battle with Stallion

Ok less of the pratting about , me and Stallion had discussed having a joint meet last year but we were alittle late to do anything before Christmas hit. We now have a venue to try, which has a big 400+ space carpark enough to hold a large amount of EVOs (hint hint ) and we hope you can all make it.

The meet will be in the centre of Chester on the morning of Sunday 17th March. It will be on the large carpark opposite the race course and next to the River Dee... on this carpark is a decent cafe to grab brekkie and coffee Looking online it seems that it is Pay & Display at £3 for 3 hours, so bring change . We will meet at 10am, have a good chat with eachothers members as this is a great opportunity to meet new faces (and cars), get some breakfast and get some tidy photos for the magazine. It would be great if the East Midlands, West Midlands and the North West members got together to get here to make it a great meet. After the meet there are plenty of places to go, so we could break off and get some food or you can make it up to missus taking them to shops ... Chester is a fantastic place for shopping and food

Details:

Date: Sunday 17th March, 2013
Time: 10am onwards
Venue: Little Roodee Cafe / Carpark, 1 Castle Drive, Chester, Cheshire CH1 1SL

Well, I think I have covered everything. Hope to see alot of you down there - making the effort in getting there will make it one of the biggest meets to date potentially. I am sure small groups will arrange to travel up 'safely' together on the morning.

Stallion will be on in abit to second this thread and give it an extra bump

Cheers
Lee

What Evo have you gone for? Was it a Lotus you went for after the 8? I did a crazy trip to Carnoustie, Scotland for my first Evo... lift to train station, train to Brum, shuttle to Airport, plane to Edinbrugh, coach to Dundee and a taxi to Carnoustie pmsl.

Yep I am booked on all sprints this year bar from Kames which I will decide on nearer the time. Just getting lots of seat time in before and hopefully have some cash afterwards left for some new tyres. Are you getting back into it?'

Edit: Just read your sig... Evo 9... Nice

yeh it was a members car(Clicky), it was in the for sale section so i sold the Lotus and went for it

Aren't all the spaces taken for the SS already? I would love to do Oulton that was fun last year, but i dont think the new car is suited for sprints, more a stand and look at it then sit and drive it
