Royal International Air Tattoo - RAF Fairford Saturday 14 July 2018

After last years MLR attendance to the Royal International Air Tattoo we have been invited back again on Saturday 14 July 2018. The show has loads going on with a 7 hour flying display being the main event. It is a long day but well worth it.

Price is £40 per person (under 16's are free) which is a saving of £15 over the normal admission price.

We would have our own stand in the Autodrome area, which is separate from the public parking and forms part of the whole event spectacle.

I have a copy of the car club participation packs and application form so if you are interested please PM me your personal email so I can forward on the application pack and add you name to the list.

Cut-off date for applications: 13 June 2018; however please remember it is a first come first serve basis due to the size of the Autodrome area.

It's a great day out I went last year. Well organised (long day but you avoid all the traffic getting in and out) Plus BIG Royal Air Force Anniversary this year

Trust me it's not as good. We got in before EVERY SPECTATOR so we could do ZE GERMAN thing, Walk 200 yards - camp out our stuff right on the centre/front of crowd line.

Go for a walk and photo everything when the place was empty/closed before and after. When the gates opened watch them all running for a spot

Relax and take up position for 7 hrs, etc. When everyone kicked out later go and have some grub in peace and wander about on our own again. You only live around the corner looking at your location too so you can drive there in 30 mins!

You will love it as the man says send him a PM with your email and the pack he sends you back has all the info and form you need to send direct to RIAT with payment. You then pick it all up from the security/reception on the day. It works like a well oiled machine.

Hi all,

Could you please PM me your personal email so I can send you the application pack.

Payment is directly to the organisers.

Fill out the application form and post it off. Payment is either by cheque, BACS or credit/debit card. In June you will receive an email from the show organisers giving details of arrival protocols. You pick your tickets up at the event participant reception. A few security checks on your car (it is a military base after all) then you are escorted to the Autodrome area, park up and enjoy.
