Comparing the models

Has anyone driven all the standard evo models? I to X?
I was wondering if each model did evolve that much to be able to pinpoint the difference. Also is there a particular model that stood out above the rest.
Iíve only ever driven my IV, did the track widening on the V and VI vastly improve handling?
Not wanting to start a flame war, just wanting to know the different encounters.

Cheers
Phil

Certainly haven't driven all of them but I've been around since the VI and have written up my thoughts on VI vs VIII vs X

If people with earlier evos really thought weight was the most important thing then they wouldn't have the evo they do, they would have the one before and so on. In fact they wouldn't have an evo at all, they would have a Corsa.

The X FQ300 lapped the Top Gear track quicker than the VIII FQ 300 despite being heavier. Waits for someone to say that the same professional driver driving the same car on the same track is meaningless but their opinion backed up with no comparative evidence at all should be considered correct
