P1 always was a stunning car, had a poster of one on the wall growing up. Always tempted to sell mine and get one but in the end brain rules that the ix is a better car and compensates for my terrible driving skills.

Oh and the rust horror stories combined with the possibility of the engine blowing its brains out kind of ruins the prospect.

Great read & two iconic cars. Luckily I’ve owned a P1, it was a great car. I’d love to own a TME but the prices they’re both fetching these days is now way out of my price range.

Are Mak’s selling well, or is it like nearly every other ‘modern classic’ just a case of them appearing over n over again for sale at crazy money?

I have both. I really like my P1 it’s a great car to drive. I was lucky enough to buy it before they started to increase alot in value and I have my TME nearly 2 years.

Yes there is that. Some are over priced & some owners are just jumping on the band wagon with unrealistic prices but like you say how many are actually selling? I presume not a lot hence they’re up for sale months on end. Still love to own a TME if I got the chance though.
