Uploading Pictures to 'Cars for sale' threads.

A number of people have been having problems uploading images to the Cars for Sale threads.

This can be due to a number of reasons, mainly due to size limitations of pictures, and none members attempting to use the MLR image uploading feature, which is only available to full members.

An easy external site to use to post images is www.postimage.org

Start by going to this site, and you will be greeted by the following screen.

To upload your pictures, click on the 'Browse' button, circled in red in the above image, this will allow you to locate your photos from your PC.

An added feature of this site, is that it allows you to enter a description of your car in the Image Description box, so you can add details such as Service History, pricing etc.

Click on Upload once you have selected your car picture, and added any other information.

When the image has completed the uploading process, you will see the screen below -

The clever feature of this image uploading service is that it does the rest of the work for you.

You will see in the picture above that there are three options available, selecting the 'Copy to Clipboard' highlighted in Red in the picture will then allow you to add the image to your MLR thread.

To add the image to your thread, simply click the right mouse button, and select 'Paste', as in the sample thread below -

The image code will be displayed like the code circled in red.

Don't panic, this is how it should appear, once your thread has been posted your actual image will appear, like the example below -

just down load a picture "resizer" from the net & upload & re size them that way

this uploader worked but how do i get the pics bigger apart from clicking on them?

Im in the same position, have the latest mac and can't get anywhere trying to upload. I would rather sell my evo on here but may have to go elsewhere to advertise
