Abs code 63?!?! Random- flashes but no abs light on... and AYC codes for good measure

Hey guys - need some diagnostic one fault finding please...

Evo 6

I have codes 41 & 82 on the AYC light -

Driving the car the AYC light would turn on after a long drive- I noticed this last week... this week tho it’s been coming on quicker and quicker ... so I decided to check the OBD! I did the pin trick and counted the flashes and got the above readings for the AYC light... I haven’t even had time to figure out what they are n how much it’ll cost to fix

But I noticed the ABS light flashing... n it’s code 63 ?!? The abs light has never come on in my ownership... but it’s odd that it’s flashing that the abs - ecu needs replacing??

Any advice on this situation or any of the above situations would be helpful!

Thanks very much

James

I'd say ABS ECU is failing given that's what 63 is meant to indicate? Have you checked the plug on the front of the ABS pump/ ECU is secure. Maybe remove, check the pins and refit first.

Thanks for your reply...

Will try this this weekend... been a little busy last couple of days With the work

I guess the code is telling me something lol...my concern was for the fact it doesn’t show up on normal start up... if the abs was failing surely on a day to day the abs light would come on... I guess I was hoping it was linked to something else

Cheers ... keep u posted 🤞
