Yeah, I'd prefer starting point with shell fuel. Any time what suits everyone.
Then full tank will last

10am works for me as well, look to leave SC no later than 1015, off to the Shell garage and then back on the route?

At the main services mate, if you go in but go past the first car park on the left and turn in to the travel lodge/premier inn hotel entry weíll be in the main car park area.

Think the best option will be to check the weather for any improvements nearer the time. It won't be any fun going over the tops if its raining, it'll be quite the opposite.

If it looks like no change and still bad weather on Thursday evening I'll look to cancel and see if we can arrange another weekend that suits people.

If it is raining and it is moved to the following Saturday , it would be better for me as it's my neices 5th birthday party this Saturday and I think she might miss me at the party and I would definitely miss her

Iím not a fair weather driver Geoff but I want to enjoy the day, on the plus side itís glorious and sunny here in Darlington today......

On the not so plus side, this bridge is on the route.... 8 miles wonít take long though to be fair and you get to see the glorious view on the quick road as you head up into Middleton In Teesdale to come back round towards Mickleton.
