Evo IX Passenger HID Not Working

My passenger HID headlight is not staying on. The initial flick of the switch sort of turns the bulb on, but it immediately goes straight out.
Is this a ballast issue? If so, where is the best place to buy a new ballast?

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Put your ear hard against the headlight with lights switched on you should be able to hear/feel the buzzing of the ballast if its working

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I can hear the buzzing noise with headlights turned on. So I can only assume it's a faulty connection then?
The bulb hasn't blown as it flickers a few times at first, then decides to give up.

I had the connection plug just work loose where it meets the ballast, easy fix, just a pain because of removing the bumper etc. Don’t know if you can get to that before committing to removing the bumper?
