So,we all know that evo rear chassis legs rot....5 years ago i stripped them to bare metal and rust bullet/wax oil/cavity waxed them.....i knew in the back of my mind they they rust from the inside...

Very different cars. The evo certainly handles alot better and you feel more confident pushing it. However it doesn't feel as well built and the GTR is much better road noise wise etc.
