It was maybe a touch "too small", 2.3 produced ungodly amount of low-down torque with it, but it was close enough....

Drag cars essentially utilize OEM spec gearboxes most often, although some utilize "faceplated" (having synchros shaved off to speed up shifts) gears, and dog-boxes...

Twin Scroll spools so much quicker, and tends to make virtually same power on top, give-or-take minimal difference -depends on specific turbo.
