Even as a lawyer I find the FIA appendices impenetrable, but for whatever reason, Toyota is definitely saying it is 25k.

It's because they changed the WRC car too much...

It's because they changed the WRC car too much for it to count as a variant of a normal Yaris, so they have to do a special production car to count as the base for the WRC car.

At at least on an IX they do have a heatshield surrounding the prop where it comes out of the front diff. Mine came loose a few months back and made a really annoying intermittment/varying rattle...

Other way around btw - 9 to 9MR is a Mitsubishi (half) model change. So 9MRs were imported by CCC and modified into FQ-360s. All FQs are UK only CCC modified specials.

Thanks, yes I know. None on Rossport site though, and not listed on HKS sites. I have one on mine already, just thinking about futureproofing if they are going out of production.

Not taking issue with any of that, apart to say that the FQs are of course modified cars - difference being they have professionally assembled packages of mods and are (or were) distributor/warranty...
