Yeah so the crank wouldn't really make any difference to bearing load would it ?

because both would be going the same piston speed so the same load on the bearings ?

I saw this 5k special...

Lol No what i mean is a 97mm 5k special crank which supposed to let the 87mm 2.3 rev to 9500 rpm.

But i always thought it was the rod bearings that cannot take the high revs not the actual crank...

Ive heard of a 2.3 4G64 revving to 9500rpm but needs a special crank

2.24 or 2.38 litre 4G64

Which engine would be the overall best setup ?

I know the 2.38 will have slightly more torque but the 2.24 will rev higher
