I have personally had similar issues in my 5speed...

I have personally had similar issues in my 5speed box with Millers.

I have Redline MT90 to try next which on here seems to have decent reviews for curing notchiness and difficult shifting.

I guess ultimately that's the problem with race car parts, everything needs constant nut and bolt maintenance. Sometimes taking a step "backwards" and sticking with OE parts is the way forwards.

Personally I would not want to slow the pump down, by doing so you would be decreasing flow and system...
