I'd honestly pay a bit more if it meant getting the CP5555 kit. The point about melted dust seal (boots) simply reinforces this imo.

Looking around at traders, some list a CP5555 or CP7040 and a CP9040.

Whatís the difference?

I believe the ix's all came with HID as standard. Some of the VIII's came with non hid like the 260 but the ix was all HID i think.
