If it's an Evo X the part is 3200A141 and it's just called the "COVER,T/F CASE,UPR". It doesn't look like there's a gasket involved so if it's leaking from there it should just be a case of draining...

Basically if you abuse a manual gearbox it will die and if you abuse the SST then it will die too. It's no doubt easier to wreck a manual clutch with poor shifting technique than the automated SST...

The only way to do this would be to take the MMCS hard disk out then unlock it then copy the files off, which in itself is a pain as the drive uses a laptop PATA connector which laptops haven't used...
