there will soon be a 2.3 evo 6 running gsc s2 cams, and one of my t4 twin scroll IWG manifolds with 7163 EFR on it... Personally I would run it as 2.0 but this will be interesting how iit turns out...

I did map a e9 for a friend that seemed really late to boost.. in the end it was the wastegate flapper that was to blame.. it had just the smallest bend in it and that was enough... we swapped turbos...

I always turn the pump with an electric drill on older evos, after major engine work.... but on the X the pump is run by a chain off the crank so without removing the front cover and sump it can not...

they can be machined but it costs a lot and new oil jets are expensive too... Also, it is a sort of open deck block... IMHO, I would buy a 4g64 if one was looking for cheap block..

I have seen a car that had too much clutch pressure on odd clutch pack at idle... i.e. it always had a clutch partially engaged and had very similar issues as the OP's car.
Check the clutch...

you need to do a teach in as the clutches cant be engaging with the brakes on.. I have seen such a case and the result was a catastrophic clutch failure that required a whole new clutch pack.....
