Turbo gas flowing

Hi all Iíve been looking at some results and testing in turbos where people have had the turbo apart and opened up some of the chambers and removed some of the sharp edges. On the inside just to try and get a bit more flow and throttle response out of it, and I was thinking it may be worth doing before I get my rods done and turbo fitted. So has anyone had it done in here and also who can do it ?

What chambers and sharp edges?

Port matching the turbo to the exhaust manifold is usually a good idea.

In some of the ones Iíve seen done they had done where the internal ďpennyĒ opens, they had opened up behind it so it could open further and also next to it where the gases escape into the exhaust they had rounded off that edge to make the flow smoother and give it a bigger area to escape through
