Thankyou :smthumbup:smthumbup... Yes, some parts are now in very short supply & take a number of weeks to arrive here in the UK once they are located... Bit worrying.

What speakers have you got for the rear! The ones I just opened that I bought earlier are not big enough. 10-15mm shy on each side :(.... what size are the front? Also is it difficult to remove the front door cards?

Love it - its always the little jobs that make it look soooo much better -

Its defo a keeper  after all the hard work you have put into it!!!

Great thread indeed - just voted for excellent - should be more like this now on the MLR :)

The rear speakers are Infinities 6x9's. They would have been too big to fit so we made up some templates to fit them to
I think the fronts are 17cm but I'd have to go & check.
The door cards are not too hard to remove, there's a screw at the back & a screw at the front then carefully pull the card away from the door releasing the poppers starting at the bottom of the door.

Ahhh, thanks Andy :smthumbup:smthumbup... Means a lot to read such positive comments
I recently read through the entire thread right up to present day & even I had forgotton just how much work has gone into the TME & how much it has transformed into the car it is today.
There are some wonderful threads on the MLR & hopefully they will inspire others to start their own so we can all appreciate the hard work & imagination that goes into making these cars :smthumbup:coolsm:

Thanks :smthumbup:smthumbup

Yes, you've gotta love a clean looking interior :D

Ahh, that's a shame re the gauges. They do come up for sale from time to time on eBay & more recently there was a set for sale on here.

Speaker wise we used some old speakers we had, Infinities front & back. Think we need to fit a small amp under a seat & we still need to rerun wiring from front to back as the drivers side rear speaker falls in & out
