Oh look!!
Two paint codes for red. Mr Ralliart will be along any minute now to say you're wrong and there's no such thing as a red TME with black door tops and no stickers :)

Grow up mate [emoji106]

These figures are suspicious to say the least. Only Mitsubishi can state the numbers, otherwise it’s just hearsay.

No more suspicious than the figure of 212 scp cars which has never been proved

M3 ROB 17-04-2019 20:53

Let's not get into another boring debate about this subject, who really gives a toss wether there is 1000 or whatever get a life

Why are they suspicious? Everyone who has checked their car can verify it is on the list. The chassis numbers are in order mine is bang on. I doubt very much the Mitsubishi family will come on the MLR and verify anything and even if they did their would still be users/trolls there to say they are incorrect. The level of detail the OP has done is great I for one believe it and not just because I have a black one but because why go to that much effort for a laugh.

I await your normal snappy and rude response.

Gg3001 18-04-2019 10:21

I for one couldnít care less about ď the numbersĒ Rare doesnít always mean desirable and/or valuable anyhow. ;) the SCP evo is and always will be the most desirable Evo ever made thatís a fact, the rest is just noise . I wish they made more as Iíd have two 😁

Willox - on the first page there are the 2 TME models, RS and RS2. So a standard TME - does that come under the GSR table? The book only lists RS models as TME? Dont quite understand what a non RS TME is referred to? Thanks.

kins 18-04-2019 18:02

Where can I get some 'Sponcer Steckers' hahaha

No problem, you can see the confusion though- the TME is listed as RS models. I thought the TME sub model was GSR, but that doesnít work according to the tables in the manual.

Maybe someone else knows.

Btw is the manual UK, Aus or??

The Europian TME are only RS and RS2 (LHD and RHD and 4 colors A69H-R71J-W83G-X08H)the same the brochure and the owner manual have information only from them.

The Australian TME are only RS2 only RHD and 4 colors A69H-R71J-W83G-X08H the same the brochure and the owner manual have information only from them.

The Japan-Uk TME are only GSR and RS only RHD and 5 colors A69H-R71J-W83G-X08H-D85H the same the brochure and the owner manual have information only from them.

There for you can identify the brochure and the owner manual for wich market is referred to (japan/uk-europian-australian)

gstefanos 18-04-2019 21:13

For example the workshop manual wich tou have posted is referred to europian market TME only RS and RS2 LHD and RHD 4 colors

IMO, standard vehicle relates to the standard E6 RS/GSR, non TME, as the list is a comparison to the standard E6 (as per what is written at the top of page 0-4)

Could make sense as the Tme manual is a supplement to the Evo 6 manual:smthumbup

A possibility/hypothesis is that it refers to the thickness of the paint, a friend of mine who has owned one VI RS and one VII RS told me that the paint on his RS was very thin and fragile; possibly to save some weigth as he said (!?)

sonetts 22-04-2019 14:59

I have just checked my two and they are on there.

Is there a list of the contents of the different codes?

I have also noticed there is no reference to the rear garnish lamp assemblies, or is this included in one of the code references?

As far as I am aware they were standard on the Red and optional on other colours but I could be wrong :mhihi:

If it is just the red TME, which it looks like it is, it would be listed in the code reference?

There's 89 different option codes. I have access to them but I need to look them up one at a time which will take at least a couple of hours, which I don't really want to spend time doing, sorry. If you want to do it let me know and I'll show you what to do. If you do it I could also update it on the page for all cars and give you credit.
